Mangrove Forests: Protecting Our Shores Together

We are very excited to announce that in October we partnered with Fauna and Flora Mozambique to launch community-led mangrove mapping, expansion of coastal Miombo and mangrove honey community programs, investments in women entrepeneurial groups, and scoping of locally managed marine area programs.

Important mangrove forests occur here, but are currently highly threatened by industrial heavy sands prospecting and mining and petrochemical development.
